Todd Moyer

Todd has over 35 years experience as an electrical engineer working for a variety of companies in Pennsylvania, Oregon, and California. He is listed as sole inventor or co-inventor on over 30 patents.
Working at Apple he was responsible for system design of the inductive power transfer for the Apple Watch charger. One of his discrete circuit designs for the Lightning cable has now shipped well in excess of 2 billion units. He also worked on the AirPods Max and several other products.
While working for Garmin on the Oregon coast, his motor drive design made up the electrical part of the SmartPump for the Garmin GHP 20 Marine Autopilot System, that is still shipping nearly 20 years later.
He graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in engineering technology from Temple University.
After retiring from Apple, he continues to do some engineering work. He and his wife Karen applied their appreciation for good wine and food into starting up the Yachats business Beach Daisy Wine. In 2026 they are working on moving to a larger location and expanding their offerings for central Oregon Coast locals and visitors. They enjoy meeting all sorts of people and sharing their passion for wine and food.

Dawnmarie has been a proud member of the Yachats community since 2021, bringing with her a strong background in community organizing and activism that continues to shape her dedication to local growth and connection. As a board member of the Yachats Chamber of Commerce, she is committed to fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. Dawnmarie volunteers at the visitor center and at all chamber events, reflecting her passion for serving the community and supporting the businesses and people that make Yachats a special place.

Catharine serves as Secretary on the Yachats Chamber of Commerce Board and brings extensive marketing expertise to the role. As Director of Marketing & Social Media for Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways, she combines her professional passion with a deep love for the Central Oregon Coast. A North Carolina native who has spent decades traveling the world and building her skills in marketing and communications, she and her husband also channeled their entrepreneurial spirit into successfully launching and scaling a craft hot sauce business. She has called Oregon home since 2012 and finds endless inspiration capturing the natural beauty of Yachats and the surrounding coast.

As a Graphic Design Business owner with a background spanning brand strategy, design, and production, I bring a 25+ year perspective to my design work, from supporting local small businesses and coastal communities to large global corporations as a freelance designer. As a member of the Yachats community, I helped redesign the City of Yachats brand, helped bring to life the new Trolley, and volunteered for the Farmers Market. As Vice President of the Yachats Chamber of Commerce, I am committed to preserving the unique character, charm, and slow tourism pace that make Yachats truly special.
Fun fact: My name, Brett, comes from the Hemingway novel, The Sun Also Rises, the main character is named Lady Brett Ashley.

Nichole Lippincott is the Executive Director of the Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce and the driving force behind Visit Yachats. A longtime Yachats local, Nichole is passionate about supporting small businesses, creating meaningful community events, and helping visitors experience the beauty and spirit of the Oregon Coast in a sustainable way.
Since stepping into the Chamber Director role in 2023, she has focused on growing year-round tourism, strengthening community partnerships, and developing events that celebrate the creativity, wild beauty, and welcoming nature of Yachats. She loves creating events that feel welcoming, creative, and uniquely “Yachats” — from Sip & Stroll and the Mushroom Festival to holiday celebrations and community mixers. Nichole believes tourism can be both fun and sustainable, and works to encourage visitors to slow down, explore responsibly, and fall in love with the wild beaches, forests, and small-town charm that make this community so special.
When she’s not working on Chamber projects, Nichole enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and soaking in all the beauty and adventure nature has to offer.

Mindy has called Yachats home since 2014, after living in various places throughout the Pacific Northwest. She quickly knew she had found her place, drawn in by the ocean, forests, and strong sense of community. Mindy feels incredibly lucky to live on the Oregon Coast and shares life here with her amazing husband and their two kids. She loves the pace and nature of coastal life and finds Yachats to be exactly where she wants to be.
