Dine-In & Takeout | Saturday, January 31, 2026

The beloved Yachats Lions Club Annual Crab Feed returns on Saturday, January 31, 2026, and after selling out in 2025, this year’s event is bigger than ever. Join us on the Oregon Coast for an unforgettable Dungeness crab feast in Yachats, featuring multiple seatings and a new takeout option.

Dine-In Crab Feed Seatings

To accommodate growing demand, the 2026 Crab Feed will offer four dine-in seatings at two locations:

  • 12:30 pm & 4:00 pm – Yachats Lions Hall

  • 12:30 pm & 4:00 pm – Yachats Commons

Each dine-in ticket is $50 and includes:

  • All-you-can-eat Dungeness crab

  • Fresh locally baked bread

  • Coleslaw

  • Baked beans

  • Soda

Seating is limited:

  • 100 guests total at the two Lions Hall seatings

  • 140 guests total at the two Yachats Commons seatings

Reservations are required and will be made online only. Early booking is strongly recommended, as this event is expected to sell out.

NEW for 2026: Crab Feed Takeout Option

By popular request, we are now offering a takeout crab feed option.

  • $40 per takeout meal

  • Includes one whole Dungeness crab plus all the classic sides

  • Pickup begins at 2:00 pm at the Yachats Lions Hall

  • All takeout orders must be picked up by 3:00 pm due to the 4:00 pm seating

Group Seating Made Easy

All seatings now support group seating at both venues. Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or an organization, simply add your Group Name at checkout, and we will ensure your party is seated together. This update also makes it easy for individuals to purchase tickets separately and still be seated with their group, especially for the Yachats Commons seatings.

Don’t miss one of the most popular Yachats community events of the year. Enjoy fresh local crab, support a great cause, and experience a true Oregon Coast tradition. Reserve early!

The 16th Annual Peace Hike: A Commemoration of Resilience and Remembrance by View the Future

New Year’s Day 2026, Yachats, Oregon, will host the 16th Annual Peace Hike, a meaningful event that honors the legacy of the indigenous peoples who endured immense suffering under government-sponsored genocidal policies during the 19th century.

The Peace Hike commemorates the tragic history of the Alsea Subagency (1860–1875), highlighting the story of Amanda, a blind Native American (Coos) woman who was forcibly separated from her daughter and marched barefoot with other captives over 80 miles of rugged terrain to the Alsea Subagency prison camp in Yachats in 1864. This annual gathering serves as a solemn remembrance of those who lost their lives and a celebration of the resilience of their descendants, many of whom participate in the event each year.
